Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma might just become parents for the second time. More so, they are expecting in three months. The couple is already blessed with a daughter named Vamika. She was born in January 2021 and could now potentially become an elder sister soon. After Vamika’s birth, Anushka had said that she had become self-assured and confident. She was happy that was turning into a secure individual.

A source confirmed to Hindustan Times that Virushka are expecting their second baby. She is in her second trimester (six months into pregnancy). The couple is likely to share the news later, much like they did with Vamika.

Anushka has not been in the public eye for a while now. This is the first hint. The source confirms that the actress is staying from public eye to avoid speculation. It is to be noted that Anushka is not even travelling with Virat, which she often does otherwise.

Asked media to keep it a secret?

We also hear that Virat and Anushka have taken media’s help in keeping the big secret. Paparazzi spotted them at a maternity hospital previously but they asked them to not post photos, with a promise to make an official announcement soon. If one remembers, they had even kept Vamika’s face hidden for the longest time. Back then too, they requested the media not to publish her photos and thanked them for understanding the situation. In fact, their wedding too was a big secret. They had gotten married in an intimate ceremony in Italy back in 2017.

Anushka’s upcoming project

Anushka had announced that she will play Jhulan Goswami on screen in Chakda ‘Xpress. She has already shot for major portions of the film and is now waiting for its release. The movie will stream on Netflix.
