The song’s lyrics have been penned by Sivakarthikeyan and it features vocals by Anirudh Ravichander and Jonita Gandhi. Ravichander has also composed the song.

Vijay fans have been patiently awaiting the release of the star’s latest film Beast, one of the most anticipated releases of the year. So it comes as no surprise that when the first track from the film was released last month, it raked in the views on Youtube, and has crossed over 100 million views as of now. And now, a fanmade video of the song is going viral that features a mashup of the Arabic Kuthu music video with clips of the popular South Korean boy band, BTS.
The short clip opens with Vijay and Pooja Hegde dancing to the song in the music video. As the two bust out their moves, a clip featuring BTS on stage at one of their live shows comes up, and the band is seen dancing to the tune in their own groovy way as well. Both the dances seem to subtly resemble each other also, adding to the delightfulness of the clip.

Arabic Kuthu is sung by Anirudh Ravichander and Jonita Gandhi, and has lyrics penned by Sivakarthikeyan. Jani Master has choreographed the song’s dance sequences. The track was released last month on February 14. Ravichander has also composed the film’s soundtrack.
Beast is written and directed by Nelson and produced under the banner of Sun Pictures. In addition to Vijay and Hegde, the upcoming film also features Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, VTV Ganesh, Lilliput Faruqui, Ankur Ajit Vikal, Sathish Krishnan and Aparna Das.
Beast will be released in theatres on April 14, 2022.
