Thalapathy Vijay's recent gesture towards a student's father at an event honouring academic achievers is making waves on the internet . A video capturing the moment shows Vijay's assistant attempting to pull the father away, but Vijay intervenes, gently pushing his assistant aside to ensure the guest's comfort. The actor's considerate gesture has won the hearts of many, as it reflects his commitment to treating guests with the utmost respect.

The event, organized by Vijay's political outfit All India Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam (TVMI), celebrated the top-performing students from each assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu. The event, held at the RK Convention Centre near Chennai, garnered significant attention as it was seen as a precursor to Vijay's anticipated entry into politics.

The TVMI already tested the waters in the electoral politics in Tamil Nadu last year by contesting the urban local body elections and winning a significant number of seats.

Vijay has never made a secret about his political aspirations. While he hasn't explicitly expressed his political plans, many believe it's only a matter of time. Especially after the recent event, where Vijay addressed several pressing issues including fake news, bad social media influence and taking cash for votes.

Vijay also encouraged students to read books outside their college syllabus. He asked them to read Ambedkar, Periyar and Kamarajar.

On the career front, Vijay is waiting for the release of his most-awaited movie Leo. Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the production of the film is going on in full swing in Chennai. The movie is due in cinemas on October 19.
