The first song from Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Bro Daddy is special for Vineeth Sreenivasan for several reasons. The song titled Parayathe Vannen is a duet with MG Sreekumar and Vineeth and is composed by Deepak Dev, who had worked with the Hridayam filmmaker in movies such as Naran and Udayananu Tharam,

Talking about the track, Vineeth, in a social media post shared by Mohanlal, said, “It’s after a long time that I am singing a track for Deepakettan. The songs that I have rendered for him have all been unforgettable.”

The two songs that put Vineeth on the map as a singer have been the title song from Naran and Karale Karale from Udayananu Tharam, which had Deepak as its composer. “Other music directors began calling me for their songs after these became hits,” he said.

Further on the experience of rendering the song, Vineeth said the music director has his own style of recording a song. “He takes his time to choose our voice tone, and he uses several mics for these. For this song too, he had tried two mics before we recorded the track. Also, his style is different and it took me back to the times of recording Karale Karale and Naran,” said the singer.

It’s also the second time that Vineeth is doing a duet with MG Sreekumar. The duo had collaborated for the first time for the song Maama Nee in Rasikan. Another reason he stressed why the song was special was because his very first track was for Aashirvad Cinemas’ Kilichundan Mampazham. The production company will be launching their record label with the track from Bro Daddy, which is set to stream directly on Disney+ Hotstar on January 26.

Incidentally, Prithviraj had also rendered a track for Vineeth’s upcoming directorial Hridayam, which is slated to release in theatres on January 21. The actor had lent his voice for the track Thathaka Theithare for the movie starring Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Darshana Rajendran.
