The moment everyone’s been waiting for is finally here. The team of Kiccha Sudeep’s Vikrant Rona released the much-awaited trailer a little while ago and boy, does it look exciting. Yesterday, in Bengaluru and today in Mumbai, the media and select guests had the privilege of watching the trailer and the Gadang Rakkamma song in full in 3D on a big screen. And while that was quite the mind-blowing experience, the 2D trailer is no less.
The trailer, which clocks just under three minutes, has Sudeep at his stylish best as inspector Vikrant Rona, who’s come to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances in the place he’s just reported on duty. The trailer of the Anup Bhandari directorial is quite action-packed and tells us just enough to figure out what’s in store when the film releases in movie halls on July 28. The trailer in different languages were released by Salman Khan, Dhanush, Ram Charan and Dulquer Salmaan.
Vikrant Rona was not shot in 3D and has only been converted, but trust us when we say that the visuals are quite amazing. It’s a long wait till July 28 to finally see it on a big screen in 3D, but that wait will be worth it.
The film, which also has Nirup Bhandari and Neetha Ashok as part of the principal cast and Jacqueline Fernandez in a special cameo, has music by B Ajaneesh Loknath and cinematography by William David. It will be released in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and English. The film has been produced by Shalini and Manjunath Gowda for Shalini Artss and co-produced by Alankar Pandian for Invenio Origin.
Sudeep and Jacqueline are currently on a promotional tour with the trailer, having covered Bengaluru and Mumbai. Tomorrow the team flies to Kochi and Chennai and will wind up the trip with a stop in Hyderabad on Saturday.
