Vikrant Massey shines as a timid Rishu, watch the Haseen Dillruba character promo here

Netflix has released a 30-sec promo on Vikrant Massey's character Rishu from its forthcoming release, Haseen Dillruba. The promo showcases Rishu’s journey from being a shy, loving husband to an obsessive maniac. An engineer by profession, Rishu is married to Rani (played by Taapsee Pannu) and is head over heels in love with her. Getting her name engraved on his arms as a declaration, the 30-second promo depicts how this transition changes him for the worse.

Haseen Dillruba, directed by Vinil Mathew, features Vikrant Massey, Taapsee Pannu and Harshvardhan Rane in lead roles. The Anand L Rai produced movie is set to premiere on Netflix on July 2.

The mystery-thriller is a story of a married woman who’s suspected to have murdered her husband after an extramarital affair, exploring the complexity of modern-day Indian marriages. The trailer of the film was released on June 11.

After tossing around dates to get through a theatrical release and after several delays, Haseen Dillruba opted for a direct to OTT release on Netflix. The movie will mark Taapsee's return to the screen after her 2020 hit Thappad. Vikrant Massey was part of Chhapaak last year, alongside Deepika Padukone (now streaming on Disney+Hotstar). Harshvardhan Rane made his presence felt in Zee5’s web series Taish.
