Vikrant Massey is all set to be seen in the psychological thriller Forensic, directed by Vishal Furia. The actor will be teaming up with Radhika Apte for the first time in his career. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name, starring Tovino Thomas, Mamta Mohandas, Saiju Kurup, Renji Panicker and Reba Monica John. The Malayalam version was directed by Akhil Paul and Anas and the film marked the directorial debut. The Hindi version is all set to hit screens on June 24 on ZEE5.

When asked about being labelled as an OTT star in on the recent interviews, Vikrant Massey said that it does bother him since he is someone who has worked in television, films and OTT platforms. He said that being categorised into a particular category is unfair considering he has a body of work across platforms. He added that he didn't understand why people saw all the mediums as separate considering the fact that they all provide entertainment and the nature of their job remains the same. He stated that he was categorised by the media as well.

His co-star Radhika Apte, too, said that she did not like being put into a box, she didn't bother about being categorised as long as she was happy with her work. Talking about Radhika Vikrant said that though they were working together for the first time, they had a fantastic time on the set. Vikrant will be seen as the adept forensic officer Johnny Khanna in the film, while Radhika will be essaying the role of police officer Megha Sharma. The plot is set in Mussorie. Interestingly, Vikrant's 14 Phere and Love Hostel, too, released on ZEE5. He also has in his kitty, films like Mumbaikar, Yaar Jigri, Gaslight and Sector 36 that are in different stages of production.
