The action-thriller Vikram Vedha was written and directed by Pushkar-Gayatri. As a tough officer named Vikram (Saif Ali Khan) sets out to track down and pursue a notorious mobster named Vedha (Hrithik Roshan), the plot of Vikram Vedha is filled with twists and turns. A cat-and-mouse game ensues, with Vedha, a skilled storyteller, assisting Vikram in removing layers through a succession of tales that lead to perplexing moral difficulties.

Vikram Vedha is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film of the same name, directed by Pushkar and Gayatri. In the original film, the titular roles were played by R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi.
