Pa Ranjith and Vikram’s most-anticipated film Thangalaan, which is scheduled to hit the big screens on January 26, 2024, is reportedly facing a roadblock. The movie's release date might get delayed by a few months, according to some reports. One of the primary reasons could be due to the delay in finishing the final stages of the film. Some of the shots of Chiyaan Vikram were reshot, according to a few other sources. However, there has not been any updates from the production team of the period drama.
Malavika Mohanan completes dubbing, shares experience
Meanwhile, Malavika Mohanan, who is playing the female lead in the Vikram-starrer, recently finished dubbing for the film and shared her experience on social media.
She said, “I am petrified about dubbing. But when it came to this film, it was such a hard character to get into. To get into that character all over again, without costume, without being on set, without doing the scene, and to still perform with the same energy, scream like her, speak like her, react to action sequences. It's one of the most challenging things I have done. I don't know how it turned out. We will all find out soon, but fingers crossed.”
The actress revealed that she seeks help from friends to help her ease her anxiety, while dubbing. “Yes I am very scared. Everytime I go dubbing, I kind of ask my friends if they want to come so that they can hand hold me through the process,” the actress elaborated.
