The audio launch of Cobra which was held yesterday evening at Chennai was special for multiple reasons. It's been a while since Vikram attended a movie-related event. Moreover, there were rumours doing the rounds on Sunday about the actor's health after he was admitted to a hospital.

Though he felt a slight chest discomfort, many media outlets reported that the actor had suffered a heart attack, leaving his fans worried. Later, his manager and son issued a release which explained the reason behind his hospital visit and requested people not to spread false news.

At the audio launch on Monday, Vikram took a dig at people who reported untrue news about his health and said that he could now predict the next day's news which certain media organizations are likely to come up with. He also appreciated a few YouTube videos for posting clickbait thumbnails in a sly manner.

Vikram said, "I came across a lot of videos on YouTube which had unbelievable thumbnails. A few of them had my face morphed on real patients. I was really surprised at the creativity these people displayed to report news of me getting hospitalized."

Vikram added that he had faced even worse situations in life long ago and that what he went through the other day is nothing in comparison. He thanked his fans for the unconditional love and said that he decided to attend the event to meet all of them.

The actor remembered being part of an advertisement several years ago for a tea powder in which he was seen as a Chola king, and expressed happiness of portraying a Chola king now in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan. Vikram also recollected that Dileep, the youngster who composed music for the old advertisement, went on to become AR Rahman, who has handled music for Ponniyin Selvan.
