The trailer of Beast is smashing records left, right and centre, and fans of Vijay can't wait to watch the action movie which is releasing on April 13 in different languages. The film's Hindi trailer was launched by Varun Dhawan the other day, and the dubbed version has been titled Raw.

The movie's Telugu trailer is expected to be out today, and the makers will be making an announcement soon. With only a week left for the film to hit the screens, the online booking has begun in many places, including the US and some of the GCC countries.

But in an unexpected turn of events, the government of Kuwait has now issued a ban on the movie. Though the exact reason is yet to be revealed by them, it is heard that excessive violence or portraying another country in poor light could be the reason which led the Ministry of Information to come up with a stern action against the movie.

However, the collection which a big ticket Tamil film earns from the country is minimal, and hence, fans of the star and makers are slightly relieved despite the ban. Vishnu Vishal's FIR (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) was the first Kollywood film which faced a ban in the country in 2022.

Last year, Dulquer Salmaan's Kurup (streaming on Netflix) which was released in Tamil and Malayalam in different countries, too, faced a ban from the country. Though film lovers are waiting to see if the government will revoke the ban, many feel that it is unlikely as the censor formalities in the country have become quite strict compared to other GCC countries.

Vijay's last outing Master (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) was released more than a year ago, and turned out to be the highest Tamil grosser in 2021.
