Vijay Sethupathi teams up with Arumugakumar again, netizens impressed with actor's new avatar

Vijay Sethupathi, who was seen in Michael and Viduthalai Part 1 this year, has his latest release Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir hit screens today. This is his first movie as a protagonist to be released in 2023. Bollywood movie Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, is his next release.

Fans are waiting to know how Atlee has pitted his character against King Khan's titular role in the action drama which is gearing up for a release on September 7. A few weeks ago, the actor signed up for a series for Disney+ Hotstar which has M Manikandan at its helm.

He has now committed to a new project which has direction by Arumugakumar. The duo had joined hands together for Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren which was released in 2018. Their new untitled project features Sandalwood actress Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead.

A few stills from the film's launch were unveiled by the director from his social media page. Cinephiles are elated to see Sethupathi in a trimmed avatar. He has lost a few kilos and is visibly seen in the pics which have him posing along with Rukmini and Arumugakumar.   

Justin Prabhakaran is composing music for the project. The details pertaining to other cast and crew are expected to be announced later. The movie's launch was held in a temple in Malaysia. Yogi Babu's inclusion is the only thing the team has revealed in terms of cast apart from its lead actors.

Film lovers are elated to see Sethupathi in a new avatar and are wondering about the character the actor is going to play in the project. Gandhi Talks and Mumbaikar are other films the actor has in his kitty.
