A month ago, the Daman-Diu schedule of cinematographer-turned-filmmaker Vijay Milton's Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan was wrapped up, and the team had released a picture of the crew members. The director has now taken to Twitter to offer a glimpse into an action sequence which is currently being shot.

The 17-second video has Vijay checking with the film's stunt choreographer if he is ready for the shot. The latter says okay and is heard shouting 'lift it up'. Vijay pans the camera to his left; a few crew members of the stunt team are seen slowly lifted up using ropes.

Supreme Sundar helms action scenes for the movie which has Vijay Antony playing the lead role. Sarath Kumar essays an important character while Megha Akash has been roped in as its female lead. The first look poster of Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan was unveiled by Arya a couple of months ago.

Saranya Ponvannan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Murali Sharma and Pruthvi Ambaar play pivotal roles in the project which marks the Tamil debut of notable Kannada actor Dhananjaya. Kamal Bohra, Lalitha Dhananjayan, Pradeep, Pankaj Bohra and Vikram Kumar are bankrolling the movie, which has music composed by Achu Rajamani, under Infinity Film Ventures.

The team had released a few stills of Vijay Antony and Sarath Kumar from the location earlier. Though there were rumours of senior actor Vijayakanth returning to silver screen with the film, the makers refuted the reports. The action-adventure flick is the sequel to Vijay Antony-starrer Salim (streaming on Zee5) which released in 2014.

The movie is the first feature film to have been extensively shot in the union territory Daman-Diu. Mazhai Pidikatha Manithan has Vijay Milton cranking the camera, too, apart from wielding the megaphone. Goli Soda 2, which was released in 2018, was his last directorial project.
