Vijay Deverakonda's next with Parasuram to release in Sankranthi 2024, details inside

Post the debacle of Liger, Vijay Devarakonda has silently started two films. The first film in discussion is with Gowtam Tinnanuri and has started its shoot already. The film is a period drama and has Sreeleela as the female lead. The second film is noted director Parsuram, who last made Sarkaru Vaari Pata with Mahesh Babu.

Dil Raju is producing this film and the news now is that the ace producer has decided to release this film during the eve of Sankranthi in January, 2024. This film was supposed to be going on floors later this year but Dil Raju does not want to wait that long and will start the shoot in a couple of months from now on.

But the real problem is that multiple films are being readied for Sankranthi 2024. Already, Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram with Trivikram Srinivas, Chiranjeevi's film with Kalyan Krishna and Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 are in Sankranthi race for now. But that has not affected Dil Raju as he feels that the subject matter is such that the film will work best during the festival time.

The news also is that the makers have named this film as Family Star. Vijay teamed up with Parasuram after Geeta Govindam that gave Vijay a new lease of life in his career and he went on to become a star with this film. The same combo is back again and is all set to make a love story yet again as per the news. The other details of the star cast will be revealed soon.
