Vijay Deverakonda has a massive fan following and there is no denying the fact. The manner in which he created hype for his last film Liger itself showed what kind of a craze he has India-wide. But the sad part is that it has been quite some time since he has given a hit under his belt. Liger was a massive flop and Vijay has been sitting idle for the most part of the year as his other Telugu film, Khushi's shoot was put on hold as Samantha, the female lead, fell sick.
Now, Vijay is almost done with Khushi which has been directed by Shiva Nirvana. Apart from these films, Vijay has also signed two biggies in the direction of Parasuram and Gowtam Tinnanuri respectively. Now, the latest update is that Vijay will first start shooting for his film with Parasuram.
The film will go on floors in August 2023 and will hit the screens as a Sankranthi 2024 release as per the news. Dil Raju will be producing this film which has Mrunal Thakur as the female lead. The film is a romantic comedy. The film will be wrapped up in four months as per the news.
On the other hand, Vijay will start shooting for Gowtan Tinnauri's film in the first half of 2024. As the film needs a lot of pre-production, Vijay has allotted dates for the first half of next year. He will be seen as a cop in this film which is a period drama and will be released on a Pan-India level by the end of 2024.

Sources close to Vijay have revealed to us that Vijay is sick and tired of staying at home and wants to cover the time lost by doing back-to-back films. In a way, he will have three releases in the next one and half year.
Even in the days to come, Vijay wants to do two films a year and is making plans for the same. As of now, his new film Khushi will hit the screens on September 1, 2023, and we cannot wait to see what Vijay and Samantha have in store for us.
