Vijay Deverakonda recently uploaded a video to his official YouTube page in which he was seen engaging in rigorous training. Although the actor was seen in the video honing each of his movements, it is his commitment and perseverance that deserve praise. Deverakonda has put a lot of work into honing each of his moves, whether they be kicks, punches, or difficult jumping acrobatics.
Along with the training session, he shared some glimpses of stunt scenes from his latest release, Liger. The Arjun Reddy actor's film, which featured Ananya Panday as the leading lady, failed to impress the audience at the box office.
Helmed by Puri Jagannadh and produced by Karan Johar, Liger marked Deverakonda’s first Bollywood film.
The video of his training session captured how the actor brought his power-packed action to the screen with utmost ease.
Meanwhile, the World Famous Lover will be next seen in an upcoming romantic drama film Kushi alongside south actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, which is all set to hit the theatres on December 23.
Unconfirmed reports claim that Jana Gana Mana has been put on hold. Given the appalling box office results of the Liger, it appears that one of the producers pulled out of the project. Puri Jagannadh and Deverakonda had stated that they would be working together once more on Jana Gana Mana during the promotions.
According to IndiaTV News, Liger, which had an estimated budget of Rs 100 crore, has so far made Rs 66.89 crore in worldwide box office receipts. As a result, distributors and exhibitors who sustained significant losses have begun suing the manufacturers for compensation.
Vijay Deverakonda is probably going to reimburse the producers by returning his pay. According to a report in ETimes, he will give the producers Rs 6 crore. The Liger star has not yet issued a formal statement regarding this.
The supporting cast of Liger includes Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey, Getup Srinu and ace boxer Mike Tyson.
