Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh get candid in BTS still ahead of Liger's first glimpse

The makers of Liger are leaving no stone unturned in raising the excitement of the fans for the film. After the "big announcement video", Karan Johar, who is co-producing the Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer, released a BTS still from the film. The photo features Arjun Reddy going behind the lens, while another photo sees director Puri Jagannadh in discussion with him.

In the evening today, the makers will also be dropping an Instagram filter from Liger. 

Puri Jagannadh wrote and directed the upcoming Indian sports action film Liger, which is co-produced by Karan Johar, Charmme Kaur, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Jagannadh under the banners of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. 

The film, which was shot in both Telugu and Hindi, stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, with Ramya Krishna playing a supporting role. 

On December 31, 2021, the makers will be unveiling the first glimpse of Liger, much to the excitement of the fans. With this film, Deverakonda will be making his big Bollywood debut. The pan-Indian film also marks Panday's entry into Telugu cinema. 

Earlier, while unveiling the title of Liger, the actor penned an emotional note. He stated that, according to conventions and established norms, someone with his background should not have gotten this far. He thanked sheer insanity, passion, and hard work! The actor added that it's acceptable for everyone, including himself, to dream big, believe in ourselves, and work hard to make one's dream a reality.

With this film, Mike Tyson will make his acting debut in the Indian film industry. The film will now be released on August 25, 2022.
