Vijay and Atlee to join hands for a fourth project? Here’s what we know!

It seems that Kollywood’s dream duo Vijay and Atlee will soon join hands for yet another crowd-pleaser. It was reported that the actor and the filmmaker are going to collaborate on another project soon, which is expected to go on floors sometime next year.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, their next collaboration will be yet another entertainer in the action genre. The director had reportedly decided on the premise of the film during the pandemic and would start working on the project after completing the commitments of his present film. The film will be bankrolled under the banner of AGS Entertainment, which had also produced the duo’s film Bigil.

If confirmed, Atlee’s upcoming project with Vijay would mark their fourth venture together. Vijay had previously starred in the filmmaker's directorial, Theri (2016), Mersal (2017) and Bigil (2019).

The filmmaker is currently working on a yet-to-be-titled film, which stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The report mentioned that the shoot of Atlee’s current project with SRK will continue at least till November this year, and the filmmaker is eyeing to release the film by March or April next year.

Vijay, who was last seen in Master, is currently awaiting the release of the Nelson Dilipkumar directorial, Beast, which will see him share the screen with Pooja Hegde. The actor is also currently working on his 66th film project, which is a bilingual film that also marks his Tollywood debut. The report also stated that the actor is expected to work on one more film, his 67th movie, before he starts working on another film with Atlee.
