In the video, Pradeep Ranganathan is seen handing over a bunch of dates to Vignesh Shivan. Pradeep then feeds a date to the Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal director. Vignesh Shivan thanks Pradeep and says that he saved him at the right time. He also thanks Pradeep and says that he is happy with the dates. The rest of the details about the film are yet to be announced. The collaboration has also upped the excitement meter among fans of both.

Pradeep Ranganathan's next after Love Today
Pradeep's last release, Love Today, had emerged as a sleeper hit among the audience. Pradeep also doubled up as the director of the film, which had Ivana as the leading lady. AGS Entertainment had bankrolled the movie which revolved around the life of a young couple in their mid-20s and how exchanging of their respective cell phones with each other, changes their lives. The supporting cast included Sathyaraj, Yogi Babu, Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena among others essaying crucial characters.

The film opened to mixed reviews at the box office. The ace director was supposed to work with Ajith after the project, but the team later got Magizh Thirumeni on board. Vignesh Shivan then took a break and focused on his personal life.
