Vignesh Shivan drops new picture of Nayanthara with sons; calls 2022 best year of his life

Director-producer Vignesh Shivan recently dropped a series of posts on the occasion of New Year, and called 2022 the best year of his life. He said that year was perfect for him personally and professionally and that it warranted a lengthy note. He wrote that it was a dreamy year for his family as got married to the love of his life, Nayanthara, that too in a blessed manner with the Superstars of the film industry attending the wedding. He wrote, "Part 1 - On a scale 10 she’s Nayan & me the 1 (sic)."

He also stated that it was also the year when he was blessed with twins- Uyir and Ulagam and that everytime he went near them, he had tears in his eyes.

2022 began with the release of the romantic comedy Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, a movie he said will always remain close to his heart. He added he thoroughly enjoyed working in the film, with amazing actors like Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha and his king, music composer Anirudh Ravichander.

Vignesh Shivan also conceptualised a show for the Chess olympiad happening in Tamil Nadu where he got the opportunity to run shoulders with bureaucrats and the greatest talents from across the world. He also had the opportunity to interact with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, AR Rahman, Kamal Haasan and Udhayanidhi Stalin. He called the moment, lifetime settlement.

He also thanked the team of his latest production, Connect, a horror thriller directed by Ashwin Saravanan, which had Nayanthara in the lead. He stated that the team gave him the confidence and support to hustle better.
