Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released in theatres on November 1, on the occasion of Diwali. The film, starring Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit, has been doing exceptionally well as the horror-comedy has now surpassed the Rs 300-crore mark at the worldwide box office. Amid this success, Vidya and Kartik opened up about sharing screen space in the film and their equation on the set.
Speaking to ETimes, Kartik Aaryan opened up about his equation with the OG Manjulika, Vidya Balan on the sets of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. He said that he felt like he and Vidya have been friends since college days and one can hear her laughter across the room. Kartik also mentioned that he has learned a lot from the actress.
On the other hand, Vidya Balan shared, "Kartik was saying that he thought he's the one who has a loud laugh but after meeting me he realized that there is someone who can laugh louder than him. I do have a loud laugh.”
Sharing her equation with Aaryan on the sets, the actress added that they got along really well and that is the reason why he must have said that he felt like we were college friends. "In fact we go along instantaneously and he's such a great sport I'd be constantly pulling his leg even on the sets and he would be game," she said.
As per Sacnilk, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 collected Rs 16.50 crore in India on Sunday (November 10). The total box office collection of the film in the domestic market now stands at Rs 199.50 crore. The film has earned Rs 315.40 crore worldwide.
In an earlier conversation with The Indian Express, Vidya Balan talked about how well the film is doing. Mentioning that this is her biggest to date, she added, “The film is doing so well, I am loving it. It is my biggest to date. Can this get any better?"
