Kartik Aaryan has taken the internet by storm with some exclusive videos from the filming location of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. His behind-the-scenes pictures from Kolkata made Bengali fans go gaga over the film already. Announced last year, the sequel was declared after the immense success of the second instalment in 2022. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 made a staggering Rs.266 crore at the box office, marking Aaryan's first film to enter the 200-crore club. Hence, it can be assumed how much excited the Freddy-actor is nowadays.
Vidya Balan as Manjulika
For the unversed, Vidya Balan has been roped in again for the third instalment. Balan’s role as Manjulika has become iconic in Bollywood. In Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Tabu portrayed the role, but couldn't grab much attention. Despite doing numerous remarkable films, Vidya is best known for the Manjulika role. However, it's not announced yet whether the 45-year-old actress will be again seen as Manjulika, or not, but some special secrets she has for her fans.
Recently in an interview with PTI, Vidya shared that Bhool Bhulaiyaa is such a special film for her that she took the shortest time to say yes, and sign the contract. While recalling her conversation with director Priyadarshan, Balan shared that she was so mesmerised to know that Priyadarshan has offered her the project that she didn't even read the script, and said yes instantly.
The Kahaani-actress further revealed that she was kind of nervous with the role of Avni, and totally relied on Priyadarshan. The director’s immense support tremendously helped them finish filming Bhool Bhulaiyaa without headache and tensions. It was so much fun at the shooting set, that no one realised when the whole film was completed. Bhool Bhulaiyaa is one of the favourite projects of Priyadarshan.

Nevertheless, the synopsis of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has not been dropped yet, but till now we know apart from Kartik, Triptii Dimri and Vidya Balan will be seen in pivotal roles. It also features Naseeruddin Shah, Elnaaz Norouzi, Madhuri Dixit, Rajpal Yadav and Boman Irani. It can be assumed already Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is going to be another crowd puller.
