Recently, the internet went in a frenzy when a popular paparazzi account posted a video of Vidya with a young girl and captioned the post, “Vidya with her daughter”. Soon, her fans started speculating about the actress’ ‘secret daughter’, compelling her to clear the air.

Addressing the social media post, Vidya told Hindustan Times that the girl is her sister’s daughter Ira. She has twins - a boy named Ruhaan and a girl called Ira. Vidya is a doting aunt to both Ira and Ruhaan and calls them her lifeline.

Netizens didn’t take long to flood the comment section of the social media post, praising Vidya’s efforts to keep her child away from the paparazzi.
