Tamil filmmaker Vetrimaaran's much-awaited movie Viduthalai Part 1 is set to open in cinemas this Friday. And the movie is making all the right choices that will give it an edge over its competitors at the box office. The industry insiders, who have had the privilege to watch this movie before its wide release, have heaped praises on Viduthalai Part 1.

"Watched Director #VetriMaaran’s #ViduthalaiPart1, it’s an amazing experience. This movie is going to break records," said M Shenbagamoorthy, who is associated with Red Giant Movies. Bankrolled by RS Infotainment and Grass Root Film Company, Red Giant Movies is the main distributor of Viduthalai Part 1 in Tamil Nadu.

The advance booking for the movie is also very encouraging. "Trade talk : yet another sambavam by #VetriMaaran and looks like the perfectionist director's winning streak continues, excellent reports from the special Trade show.. #ViduthalaiPart1 TN release by @RedGiantMovies_," tweeted industry tracker Naganathan.

Based on a true story, this movie has been in the making for a while now. And Vetrimaaran has seemingly upped the intensity in this movie, which was very evident in its trailer . He has made no artistic compromises to make this film more accessible to a wider audience. This film has been cleared by the censor with an A certificate. Even though it's 'A' certificate movie, the trade is expecting the market to respond overwhelmingly to this Vetrimaaran directorial.
