If the buzz in the industry is to be believed, Trisha is the frontrunner for Ajith's next, Vidaa Muyarchi. The film, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, will mark the director's maiden collaboration with the Thunivu star. Trisha and Ajith had earlier worked together in a number of films, be it Ji (2005), Kireedam (2007), Mankatha (2011) or Yennai Arindhaal (2015).
Trisha has always maintained that she admired Ajith and liked his disposition. However, she has remained tight-lipped about Vidaa Muyarchi. An official confirmation is awaited.
Magizh Thirumeni had expressed his excitement about teaming up with Ajith and had shared on his social media handle, "Thank you #AjithKumar Sir for this greatest opportunity to work with you for the prestigious #VidaaMuyarchi May 22 Game start."
The shoot for the film is expected to begin in the second week of June, according to ETimes. Meanwhile, the preparations for the set have begun. It is said that Ajith will undergo a makeover for the film and kickstart the shoot at the earliest, which he held across different parts of the country.
The shoot is expected to span around 5 to 6 months and the film is likely to release next year. Vidaa Muyarchi, which is billed as an action entertainer, is bankrolled by Lyca Productions and will have Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music.
Meanwhile, Trisha is currently busy with the shoot of Lokesh Kanagaraj's Leo. The film marks her comeback in a Vijay film after a span of 14 long years and fans of both the stars are on cloud nine about the same. Leo is one of the most-anticipated releases of the year.
The actress will also be seen in a women-centric film, which is tentatively titled Kolai Vazhakku. The film will be made by Gaurav Narayanan, who had earlier made films like Thoonga Nagaram, Sigaram Thodu and Ippadai Vellum.
It looks like Trisha is indeed riding on a wave and has become the most sought-actresses in the industry, after her performance as Kundavai in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan 2.
