Vidaa Muyarchi: THIS leading actress is likely to be roped in for Ajith's film with Magizh Thirumeni

The much-awaited title of Ajith's next with Magizh Thirumeni was confirmed as Vidaa Muyarchi on May 1, on the star's birthday. The movie to be bankrolled by Lyca Productions has Anirudh scoring music for it. The project is expected to go on floors in June.

All details pertaining to the cast and crew will be announced later. There are reports of the film eyeing a summer release in 2024. Amid various speculation on its genre and story, makers are tight-lipped about it. Ajith has been busy with a bike trip in Nepal and Bhutan till recently.

He is said to kick off the next round of the trip in November, informed his spokesperson sometime ago. It is now heard that a leading actress is in consideration to play the female lead in the movie. Trisha is said to be the frontrunner in bagging the role and social media is already abuzz with the same.

Ji, Kireedam, Mankatha and Yennai Arindhaal are movies that had Ajith and Trisha sharing screen space with each other. It will be interesting to see if the duo teams up again after almost a decade.

Trisha, who is on a roll with appreciation garnering from several quarters for her role in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan, signed up Vijay's Leo a few months ago, much to the delight of cinephiles. The actress is teaming up with Varisu star after almost 15 years.
