Ajith Kumar is set to make a comeback to the big screens after a short break, with the upcoming action thriller, Vidaa Muyarchi. The project, which marks the popular star’s 62nd outing in the Tamil film industry, is helmed by talented filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni. As you may know, the major portions of Vidaa Muyarchi have been shot in Azerbaijan. Recently, the makers finally dropped a major update on the film and confirmed that the entire Azerbaijan portions have been wrapped up.
As the reports suggested, the final schedule shooting of the Ajith Kumar-starrer was expected to start rolling in another foreign country, after a quick schedule break. However, the latest updates suggest that there is a slight delay in the shooting plans.
Vidaa Muyarchi final schedule is delayed
If the latest reports are to be believed, the final schedule of Vidaa Muyarchi was supposed to start rolling in Istanbul, by the beginning of February 2024. However, the grapevine suggests that the shooting has been delayed now, due to the busy schedules of some of the cast members. The rumour mills suggest that the Magizh Thirumeni directorial will go on floors, only after the entire cast members provide the dates. In that case, this might cause a delay, even in the film’s release.
However, it has been confirmed that the team will shoot for some of the most important scenes in the film in Istanbul. However, later the Vidaa Muyarchi cast and crew will return to Chennai, for the shooting of the climax portions. A section of the film’s production designing team is now busy constructing a massive set at a famous film city in Chennai, for the same.

Ajith Kumar is playing the central character in Vidaa Muyarchi, which features popular actor Trisha Krishnan as the female lead. The Magizh Thirumeni directorial also features senior actor Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and Arav, in the other pivotal roles. Anirudh Ravichander composed the songs and original score for the movie. Nirav Shah is the director of photography. The action thriller, which is bankrolled by Lyca Productions, is set to hit the big screens by the second half of 2024.
