Popular art director Milan passed away in Azerbaijan yesterday after a heart attack. He was working on Ajith's upcoming film with Magizh Thirumeni, Vidaa Muyarchi. He was 54. The incident has come as a major shock to the entire team and the film industry as a whole.
Mortal remains to be brought back to Chennai
The team of Vidaa Muyarchi is currently working with the Indian Embassy officials in Azerbaijan to bring his mortal remains back home to Chennai. His son is a part of the production design team of the film. We hear that the art director had complained of chest pain and was rushed to the hospital, but he breathed his last even before he reached the premises. Ajith, Magizh Thirumeni and the film's cinematographer Nirav Shah were also accompanied to the hospital.
Condolences pour in for the art director
Actor Arya wrote, "Heartbroken to hear about art Director #Milan sir. Gone too soon brother #RIP (sic)."
Calling him an extremely creative person, stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan wrote, "Art director Milan Fernandez no more very creative human always positive person big lose for Tamil film industry we miss u sir (sic)."
Composer Imman called him a wonderful human being. "Rest In Peace Art Director Milan sir. A wonderful human and a great loss to cine industry. My deepest condolences to his family and friends (sic)."
CS Amudhan had blamed the hectic schedules of the film industry and how odd working hours and food habits were taking a toll on everyone. His tweet read, ""Another friend gone too soon. Cinema, this thing of ours is a stressful, draining business, with our odd hours & carb-heavy food we should really take more care of ourselves. RIP Milan (sic)."

While the ace art director, who had teamed up with Ajith a number of times had just begun work on the film, he had contributed to the Kanguva team in a big way.
