Vidaa Muyarchi: Arav to come on board to play a pivotal role in the much-awaited Ajith-starrer?

Fans of Ajith have been eagerly awaiting an update on Vidaa Muyarchi for quite some time. The project's title was officially announced on May 1, on the star's birthday. However, there hasn't been any update ever since, leaving fans disappointed. Lyca Productions is bankrolling the movie which will have Magizh Thirumeni at the helm.

Amid various speculations doing the rounds, the makers are yet to make an announcement confirming or denying those, testing the patience of cinephiles. The latest is that Sanjay Dutt is said to be essaying the antagonist's role.

Vidaa Muyarchi: Arav to come on board to play a key role in the Ajith-starrer?

There were reports of Arjun Das donning an important character in the project. The names of Trisha also did the rounds with regard to essaying the female lead in the film. We now hear that Arjun will be replaced by Arav.

The latter played the antagonist in Magizh's previous outing Kalaga Thalaivan (streaming on Netflix). Again, a confirmation is awaited on this news which is spreading like wildfire on social media. An old video of Arav expressing his admiration for Ajith has started going viral.

Another big-ticket film for Anirudh

Music director Anirudh, who is on a roll with back-to-back success, is the musician for Vidaa Muyarchi. The action drama will mark his third outing with Ajith after Vedalam and Vivegam. His presence in the crew is one of the highlights of the movie.

The project, which was earlier tentatively titled AK 62, marks the first collaboration between Anirudh and Magizh. AK 62 was supposed to have Vignesh Shivan at the helm, but creative differences between the makers made Magizh replace him.
