Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video - Did you know Mallika Sherawat is also a part of Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri's social comedy?

Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri's first project for 2024 will be Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Raaj Shaandilyaa's social comedy, which went on floors in Rishikesh on January 27, 2024, is already wrapping up its run. According to the latest reports, the crew of the Ektaa R. Kapoor production is nearing completion and is currently preparing to film two songs.

Setting the stage

According to Mid Day, in Shaandilyaa's film, the chaos that ensues in a tiny town in the 1990s centres on the disappearance of an intimate video with Vicky and Vidya, played by Rao and Dimri, respectively. To match the scene, production designer Rajat Poddar and his crew created a set that resembles a mohalla in a northern Indian village in Rishikesh.

A source told the tabloid that the '90s were the inspiration for everything from automobiles to televisions. Beginning at the end of January, the filmmaker has been filming nonstop with the whole cast, including Mallika Sherawat, Rajat Kapoor, and Vijay Raaz. He has scheduled the two songs for the following two weeks. Starting this Sunday, he will have a situational number starring the entire cast and set in the mohalla. Second, there's a love ballad that the protagonists sing together.

Filming schedule and completion expectations

Meanwhile, back in December 2023, Shaandilyaa and his crew went to Dehradun, which has been imagined for the story. Moreover, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is perfect for Raaj because he is an entertainer who also wants to make a social statement. It centres on the mayhem that breaks out in a tiny village after the primary actors' characters, Vicky and Vidya, go missing along with a VHS cassette that has an intimate film of the two of them. While injecting the story with his signature wit, the director aspires to revive the '90s allure.

Directed by Shaandilyaa and starring Rao and Dimri, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is their first joint venture.
