Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava has failed to cross the Rs. 600-crore mark at the Box Office. The movie has come close to its lifetime run, and even though it came pretty close to Rs. 600 crore mark, the movie has not minted as much before its OTT release. Witnessing its biggest drop on its 8th Tuesday, the film has now run its lifetime course, and it is below the Rs. 600 crore mark, as per the latest report on Sacnilk.
Chhaava has minted Rs. 0.23 crore on its eighth Tuesday. Thus, the total Box Office collection of the movie is currently at Rs. 599.03 crore. The biggest drop for Chhaava came on the eighth Monday itself, with 72% drop. The eighth Tuesday saw a further drop in collections, thus hinting that the movie would go off-screen anytime soon. At this rate, Chhaava might miss the Rs. 600 crore mark before its OTT debut. Now, the only question that remains is, can Chhaava remain the highest-grossing film of 2025? For now, it sure is!
Chhaava is expected to make its OTT debut this week itself. Given that it is unusual, reports did suggest that the Vicky Kaushal-Rashmika Mandanna starrer will be out on Netflix on Friday, April 11. Now it is just a matter of time before we know if that is actually happening or if there is a change of plans. The makers are expected to make an official announcement soon (or maybe not, depending on the situation).
If you liked watching the magic of Chhaava in theatres, you are likely to fall in love with some other films streaming on OTTplay Premium. These include Subodh Bhave-Sharad Kelkar's film, Har Har Mahadev. The same tells the brave tale of Sambhaji's father, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
