Vicky Kaushal shares excitement to head back home after Sam Bahadur promotional events, IN PICS

Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for his highly anticipated film Sam Bahadur, based on the real-life hero Sam Manekshaw. The actor is intensively participating in numerous promotional events held in different big cities in the country. His last visit to Delhi’s college became special for fans after he gifted his goggles to one of the lucky fans. Today, Sam Bahadur actor shared on his social media a glimpse of his promotional ride in a bus.

Vicky Kaushal is riding home!

The 35-year-old actor is heading home, and his excitement is evidently noted in the recent Instagram stories. The Zara Hatke Zara Bachke actor revealed his excitement to return home after vigorous promotional events held in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow Jaipur, Amritsar, Dubai, and Delhi.

Taking to his Instagram stories, he shared a picture of a bus along with film’s director Meghna Gulzar and other teammates and listed the names of the cities, along with a green tick in front of them. At the last stop, he mentioned Home! and added a red heart emoji, hinting at his joy to return to his wife and Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif. The unseen pictures feature the humbled actor wearing a casual black t-shirt and a cap during the journey of solid promotions.

Sam Bahadur advance bookings

According to a news report in Pinkvilla, Sam Bahadur managed to outshine Akshay Kumar’s selfie by selling 15,000 tickets in the advance bookings in top National chains, two days prior to the theatrical release. Based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw who led the Army in the Indo-Pak war, Sam Bahadur narrates the brave officer’s tale to the world.

Sam Bahadur also stars Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra alongside Vicky Kaushal in the titular role. The biopic war-drama will be clashing with Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal in theatres as both the films are in neck-to-neck competition as they release on December 1.
