While awaiting the release of his new film, a fresh report suggests that he is in talks with director Kabir Khan to do a film together. Yes, you read that right! Here's everything you need to know about it:
Vicky and Kabir share a good bond, thanks to Katrina Kaif. The actress has worked with Kabir in films like New York, Ek Tha Tiger, and Phantom. Apart from sharing a professional relationship, they are very thick personally too. Now, it seems like Vicky is set to work with the '83 director. A while ago, Filmfare shared details about their probable creative partnership and we can't really keep calm.
A source told the portal that the actor-director duo has found a project, but the deal is not yet sealed. The source shared, "Kabir Khan and Katrina Kaif have had a long-standing association and friendship. Ever since Katrina and Vicky Kaushal came together, Kabir has always been a friend and mentor to Vicky. But now, after all these years, they have finally found a project, where the two can come together. The deal hasn't been sealed yet. But it is as good as done."
It will be surely interesting if the talented duo, Kabir Khan and Vicky Kaushal collaborate on a film. Vicky's brother Sunny Kaushal worked with Khan earlier on a series titled The Forgotten Army - Azaadi Ke Liye, co-starring Sharvari Wagh. It is available to watch on Prime Video.
Kabir Khan's last directorial Chandu Champion featured Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. The sports drama was based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, India's first Paralympic gold medalist. Despite receiving a good response from critics, it ended up earning Rs 61.8 crore net at the Indian box office.
Apart from Chhaava, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Vicky has an exciting lineup of films in the pipeline. He has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. He is also a part of Maddock Films' Mahavatar.
