Vicky Kaushal reveals how Katrina Kaif motivated him when he was nervous before a stage show: ‘The one thing that really helped me was...’

It has been lovely 1.5 years for Bollywood superstars Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal as a married couple. They not only prefer to spend quality time with each other, but also appreciate each other’s works in the public sphere. Truly, they are defining the phrase, ‘couple goals’, on a daily basis.

At an event held in Mumbai last evening, Vicky Kaushal talked in detail about how Katrina Kaif inspires him on his personal as well as professional front. 

Narrating an incident of the past, Vicky expressed, “Me and Katrina were supposed to fly to Madurai to attend an annual day function at a school. I could not attend it at the last moment because of a performance that I had to deliver at the last minute. My performance was slated to take place in Assam in front of 1,00,000 people. When I reached the venue in Assam, I got super nervous before the performance, especially after knowing that I had to perform for such a large crowd.”

“The one thing that really helped me was Katrina being with the kids over there (in Madurai) celebrating their annual function. She kept on sending me videos of kids performing on stage. One of the kids was dressed up as a giraffe, one as a sunflower, etc. All of them were enjoying themselves. She then sent me a video in which kids were saying, ‘All the best Vicky Uncle’. That video really changed me. I realized that they are performing on stage with no worry. They had so much joy on their faces. So, I realized that it is what I should carry on stage,” Vicky wrapped up.

On the work front, Vicky Kaushal has a couple of projects lined up. He will next star in a biopic titled Sam Bahadur on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. This movie is slated to be released in December and is directed by legendary filmmaker Meghna Gulzar.

After this, Kaushal will next star in Anand Tiwari's romantic comedy Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam, co-starring Tripti Dimri.
