Vicky Kaushal on working with Katrina Kaif: ‘We will do a film if we fit the part’

Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif never shy away from their love for each other, be it during interviews or in their heartwarming social media posts. Their offscreen chemistry has left fans wanting to see them together on screen too. Responding to that, Vicky recently said in an interview that they would accept an offer only if they fit the part.

Vicky Kaushal on doing a film with Katrina Kaif

Commenting on receiving offers to do films together, Vicky recently told News18 that the right thing would be to get cast in films if they fit the part. He further said that we don’t want to do a film together just because there’s a lot of curiosity to see us together on screen.

Adding to that, the Uri actor said that the makers should genuinely feel that we’re perfect for the roles, irrespective of our real-life relationship. “That’s when it will add value to the film in the truest sense. So, we’re waiting for that kind of opportunity. We should organically fit into those characters. Only then will it work well,” he elaborated. Earlier, there were rumours about casting Vicky and Katrina together in a film produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

Vicky and Katrina tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Rajasthan in 2021, with only friends and family in attendance.

On the work front, Vicky was last seen alongside Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar in The Great Indian Family. He will be seen next in Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur, essaying the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Katrina, on the other hand, will feature next in Maneesh Sharma’s Tiger 3. She also has Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa in her kitty.
