The highly awaited Vettaiyan Prevue was revealed recently by the makers, at the grand audio and prevue event held in Chennai. The glimpse video of the upcoming Rajinikanth starrer, directed by TJ Gnanavel, hints that the movie is a high-octane social-action drama. The biggest highlight of Vettaiyan Prevue is the face-off between the superstar, and legendary Bollywood megastar, Amitabh Bachchan. However, Fahadh Faasil’s appearance in the video left the cinephiles with mixed reactions.
As reported earlier, Fahadh Faasil is set to play a pivotal character named Patrick, in the upcoming TJ Gnanavel directorial. Earlier, the National Award-winning actor confirmed that his role in the Rajinikanth starrer has shades of humours. After this revelation, the actor’s fans and cine-goers were eagerly waiting to watch the glimpses of his character, in the Vettaiyan promotional videos. However, the Vettaiyan Prevue, which was revealed recently, left the film fanatics with mixed reactions.
As expected, most of the Fahadh Faasil fans and cine-goers are excited to see what the actor has in store for them, in this film. However, a few others are highly disappointed with Vettaiyan Prevue and feel that the actor is sidelined in the glimpse video, with no dialogue. For the uninitiated, the Aavesham actor appears in the video twice, but in blink-and-miss appearances. The disappointed fans now feel that Fahadh should stop playing supporting characters in big star-led films. The others, however, are sure that the character Patrick will be the highlight of Vettaiyan.
