Vettaiyan plot revealed: All you need to know about the Rajinikanth-TJ Gnanavel film

Vettaiyan, the highly anticipated project that stars Rajinikanth in the titular role, is all set to hit the theatres on October 10, 2024. The social-action drama, directed by Jai Bhim fame TJ Gnanavel, has been making headlines lately after the release of the Prevue video. Meanwhile, the social media post, which reveals the Vettaiyan plot line, is now going viral on social media. As per the reports, the Rajinikanth starrer revolves around an encounter specialist cop and his fight for justice.

Vettaiyan plot is revealed

According to the new post which is doing rounds on social media, Vettaiyan revolves around a highly sought-after supercop, who is known for his encounter skills. However, his life takes a different turn when he encounters a suspect who is accused of murder. The Vettaiyan plot, which is now doing rounds on social media, suggests that the TJ Gnanavel directorial revolves around the protagonist’s struggle to confront his moral compass, while still fighting against the corrupt powers for justice.

As reported earlier, Rajinikanth is set to play the role of the supercop and encounter specialist, in the film. Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary Bollywood superstar, appears in the role of Sathaydev, a retired judge who heads the investigation against the protagonist after he encounters one of the suspects in a murder case. Manju Warrier plays the role of Tara, the wife of the cop in the film. Fahadh Faasil, on the other hand, appears in the role of Patrick, who becomes a part of Vettaiyan’s journey.

The TJ Gnanavel directorial features a massive star cast including Rana Daggubati, Kishore, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, GM Sundar, Abhirami, Rohini, Rao Ramesh, Ramesh Thilak, Rakshan, and others in the pivotal roles. Anirudh Ravichander composed the songs and original score. SR Kathir I.S.C is the director of photography. Philomin Raj handles the editing. The Rajinikanth starrer is bankrolled by A Subaskaran, under the banner Lyca Productions.
