Vetri completes dubbing for his portions in Jiivi 2

Actor Vetri has completed dubbing for his portions in Jiivi 2. The film's director VJ Gopinath shared on his social media handle that the dubbing for the entire portions of the film have been completed. He wrote, "The entire dubbing of #Jiivi2 wraps up with Actor @act_vetri completing his portions. @Vjgopinath @sureshkamatchi @pravethedop @mimegopin@SundaramurthyKS @Cinemainmygenes @Ashwini_chandr #karunakaran @Rohinimolleti @Vetrikumaran7 @NaganathaSethu3@johnmediamanagr (sic)." It was only recently that Karunakaran, too, had completed dubbing for his portions. 

Jiivi 2 is the second instalment in the 2019 crime drama, Jiivi. The film features Vetri, Karunakaran and Rohini in crucial roles. VJ Gopinath, who had helmed the original, had wrapped up the shoot for the sequel in a span of 27 days and has also penned the script for the film.

The film's producer had then shared on his social media page, "And, its a wrap! fast! Thnx to my #jiivi2 team. @Vjgopinath1 @act_vetri @pravethedop @SundaramurthyKS @Cinemainmygenes @Ashwini_chandr #Karunakaran @stuntsudesh @Rohinimolleti @Vetrikumaran7 @NaganathaSethu3 @johnmediamanagr @praveen4joe @mubashirforU #vhouseproductions (sic)."

The sequel is all set to begin from where the first part ended. Cinematography for the film is by Praveen Kumar and editing is by Praveen KL. Music is by KS Sundaramurthy.

The first-look poster shows Vetri seated on a chair that resembles a throne, with wings and horns on the sides. SJ Suryah, who had released the poster, had written on his social media page, "Hi EveryOne❤ Happy to Reveal the First Look Poster of #Jiivi2. Good Luck Team @Vjgopinath1 @act_vetri @sureshkamatchi @pravethedop @SundaramurthyKS @Cinemainmygenes @Ashwini_chandr #karunakaran @Rohinimolleti @Vetrikumaran7 @johnmediamanagr (sic)." 

The film went on to receive rave reviews from the audience and critics alike. Jiivi 2 is bankrolled by Suresh Kamatchi’s V House Productions and the release date if yet to be announced. Now, with Jiivi 2 gearing up for release, fans of the franchise are eagerly awaiting the film to hit screens.
