Mahesh Babu, despite being an actor who enjoys immense fame across the globe, remains guarded about his feelings and opinions whenever he engages with the media. The star, at best, gives straightforward, sometimes one-word responses, leaving the rest to our imagination. However, for Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s promotions, Mahesh Babu was a lot more candid than expected, also helped by the fact that he was directly engaging with the media after a long gap.
Among many aspects he shared was the much-awaited update about a possible biopic on his father and veteran star Krishna. When asked by a journalist if his family was approached about the permission for such a biopic, he told, “No, no one has approached us for a biopic on my father. I am not sure if it is getting made. However, even if the project goes on floors, I don’t see myself acting in it. I treat my father like a God and I can’t see myself stepping into his shoes and playing his role.”
However, much to the delight of his fans, Mahesh said that he would always want to share screen space with his father in a film. “Given an opportunity, I would love to act with him again. Why not?” he had responded. He wasn’t sure if he would act with his son Gautham though. “He acted in 1:Nenokkadine when he was a kid but his interests are different now. He wants to go abroad, and study and has other plans for himself beyond films. I’ll do my best to support his ambition,” Mahesh stated.
Mahesh’s daughter Sithara has already expressed her interest to don the greasepaint and has even enrolled in dancing classes recently. She had even starred in a music video of Sarkaru Vaari Paata titled Penny. Mahesh Babu is also making his debut as a producer with the multilingual film Major, starring Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Saiee Manjrekar, which releases on June 3.
