Veteran actor, Sarath Babu passes away due to multiple organ failure

In what could be said as a sad piece of news, veteran Tollywood actor Sarath Babu has passed away in Hyderabad today. He was suffering from multiple organ failure and passed away at the continental hospital in Hyderabad.

Just a few days back, his family members revealed to the media that the actor was getting better, and his death reports are baseless. But sadly, within a few days he passed away. His funeral will be held tomorrow in Hyderabad amidst his family and film industry folks.

Sarath Babu has acted in more than 200 films. He entered the film industry in 1973 through a Telugu film and later became popular through the Tamil film Nizhal Nijamgiradhu (1978), directed by K Balachander. He has received eight state Nandi Awards.

Sarath Babu wanted to become a police officer but as he had an issue with eyesight he could not qualify for the job. He married actress Rama Prabha and later divorced her and was living in Chennai alone.

He is known for his performances in Maro Charitra, Sagara Sangamam, 47 Rojulu, Sitara, Anveshana, Annayya, Seethakoka Chiluka, and others. Well, we at OTTplay convey deep condolences to his family during their time of grief.
