As we inch closer to the release date of Venom: The Last Dance with each passing day, the curiosity to see what the makers have prepared for the last hurrah is increasing. The movie, which was previously associated with a lukewarm buzz by netizens, has suddenly become one of the most anticipated films worldwide. The reason? The makers revealed Knull as the big villain of the film. Now, as we know, Sony and Marvel are currently negotiating a deal, and introducing a multiversal villain as significant as Knull, who can easily be connected to Spider-Man 4, will naturally raise massive anticipation for the project. Fans have been eager to know everything about the film, and it seems we now know the reported runtime, placing it as the second-longest film in the trilogy.

Venom: The Last Dance Runtime Revealed

Venom: The Last Dance has a lot to prove, considering Tom Hardy stars in his last standalone solo flick. This means it’s his final hurrah, and there is so much unfinished business. Add to this the introduction of Knull, whom the symbiotes have been fleeing from. The movie is now set to hit theaters on October 25, and the rumor mill has churned out the alleged runtime of Venom 3. Read on to know more.

The scoop comes from Cryptic4KQual, who has revealed the runtime of Venom: The Last Dance. According to the scoop, the movie is not the longest installment, clocking in at over two hours as earlier rumors suggested, but the second-longest, with a runtime of 110 minutes (1 hour and 50 minutes). This places Venom 3 second in the trilogy in terms of runtime. However, this information has not yet been confirmed.

To give you a clearer idea, Venom had a runtime of 112 minutes (1 hour and 52 minutes), and Venom: Let There Be Carnage was 97 minutes (1 hour and 37 minutes). So, The Last Dance is just a couple of minutes shorter than the first and 13 minutes longer than the second film. However, once the studio opens advance bookings and begins promotion, the runtime will be confirmed, and we’ll know the exact details.

About Venom: The Last Dance

The makers have kept pivotal details about the movie neatly under wraps. Even the trailer and promotional material have not revealed much. The official synopsis from Sony reads: "In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel's greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds, and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie's last dance."

Venom: The Last Dance stars Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham. The film will be released on the big screen on October 25, 2024.
