Venky Kudumula’s next with Nithiin, Rashmika Mandanna launched; Chiranjeevi, Bobby Kolli grace pooja ceremony

Director Venky Kudumula, actors Nithiin, Rashmika Mandanna, the team that gave us a superb entertainer Bheeshma earlier, are reuniting for another massive project that went on floors today. Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni of the leading production house Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling the film that’ll also star Rajendra Prasad and Vennela Kishore in crucial roles.

Waltair Veerayya star Chiranjeevi, directors Bobby Kolli, Gopichand Malineni, Hanu Raghavapudi and Buchibabu Sana graced the pooja ceremony held in Hyderabad today. While Chiranjeevi sounded the clapboard for the first shot, director Bobby switched on the camera. Hanu Raghavapudi and Buchibabu Sana formally handed over the script to the team.

GV Prakash Kumar will be composing the music for the film and a special promo video featuring him, the lead actors and the director, announcing the project, went viral earlier this week. Sai Sriram cranks the camera for the same and Raam Kumar is the art director. Hari Tummala is the executive producer for the much-anticipated film which is set to go on floors shortly.

In the earlier promo video, director Venky Kudumula promised a distinct outing in comparison to Bheeshma and Chalo.

This is also the director’s third collaboration with his lucky mascot Rashmika Mandanna, with whom he shares a good professional rapport. The project is expected to release by the end of 2023. While Venky Kudumula was to collaborate with Chiranjeevi for a film to be produced by DVV Danayya earlier, the project has been put on the backburner for now.
