Venky Atluri on Lucky Baskhar: Such a plot has never been tried before in Telugu cinema

Dulquer Salmaan has a massive fan following in Telugu states and is doing back-to-back films in Tollywood. He is now ready with his new film Lucky Baskhar which is all set to hit the screens on October 31, 2024. The promotions are in full swing and director Venky Atluri is quite confident that the film will be a big hit in Telugu states.

Lucky Baskhar is based on a the banking sector and is a period drama. Speaking about the film, Venky Atluri says that no one in Telugu cinema has attempted such a film before. "The subject, backdrop, and twists in the film are completely new to Telugu cinema. You will be thrilled after watching Lucky Baskhar on the big screen," says Venky Atluri.

Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead in this film, which has been produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya on a massive scale. Most of the film has been shot in a specially erected set in Hyderabad worth Rs 2 crore.

Dulquer Salmaan will be seen as a banker who gets big money and does not know how to handle it. How this changes his life upside down is the basic story of the film. The trailer has caught the imagination of everyone and with Dulquer in top form, the openings will be quite good.

On the other hand, Venky Atluri is also on a high as his last film, Sir, with Dhanush, was a smash hit at the box office. Lucky Baskhar has some popular actors in key roles and has great setwork by A S Prakash. Watch this space for more updates.
