Since the bloody and gory trailer of Veerapandiyapuram was released by the makers a few days ago, fans of Tamil cinema have been excited and looking forward to a great action drama on the way.

The latest news about the movie is that it has been certified U/A. The makers announced the news with posts on social media, and Jai also took to social media to share the news. The makers of the action drama also revealed that the movie will hit theatres on February 18, 2022.

The movie is helmed by Suseenthiran, who previously released Eeswaran starring Silambarasan in 2020. Veerapandiyapuram also stars Meenakshi Govindarajan and Akansha Singh in the lead roles, along with Bala Saravanan, Kaali Venkat, Harish Uthaman, Jaya Prakash, Sathru, Sarath Yogesh, Aruldoss, Muthukumar and Ajay Prince.

The movie’s trailer, which comes with a lot of gore and drama, has already been a hit among the fans, who are expecting a movie that will engross and engage them. The trailer was also shared by big names in the industry like Silambarasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Vishnu Vishal, Vijay Antony, Arya, Sundeep Kishan, Sasikumar, Vikranth, Soori, and Adhi.

Produced by S Aishwarya under the banner of Lendi Studios, the movie will also see Jai make his debut as a music director. R. Velraj and Kasi Vishwanathan are also associated with the movie as the cinematographer and editor, respectively.

Jai, who was last seen in the adult comedy Capmaari by S. A. Chandrasekhar in 2019, was also seen in the web series Triples, which was released on Disney+ Hotstar in December 2020.

The actor also has several movies in the pipeline, including Yenni Thuniga and Pattamboochi, among others.
