Veeramae Vaagai Soodum release date: When and where to watch this Vishal-starrer action film

Vishal's Veeramae Vaagai Soodum was the actor's movie to release in theatres after more than a year's hiatus. The action thriller directed by Thu Pa Saravanan hit the screens on February 4. The project was initially supposed to release on January 26; but the third wave of the pandemic made the makers postpone the release by a week. 

The film which has Dimple Hayathi playing the female lead opened to mixed reviews from critics. Marimuthu, Raveena Ravi, Thulasi, Baburaj, Elango Kumaravel, George Maryan, Yogi Babu and RNR Manohar among others essayed notable characters in the movie which has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. 

What's Veeramae Vaagai Soodum about?

The movie's story revolves around an aggressive youngster who aspires to become a sincere cop. An unfortunate incident which happens to his sister changes his life topsy-turvy. He sets out to take revenge against a businessman who is all set to contest for the post of MP in the upcoming election. 

What made the former, a common man, choose revenge against a powerful person who is capable of doing anything? Will he be successful in taking on a big shot?

When and where to watch Veeramae Vaagai Soodum online?

The film will have its OTT premiere on Zee5 on March 4, exactly a month after its theatrical release. The realistic, yet stylishly shot action sequences from the movie received appreciation from critics and the audience alike. However, its duration and a few elements in the screenplay were criticized.

The project, produced by Vishal himself under Vishal Film Factory, has cinematography by Kavin Raj and editing by NB Srikanth. Pon Parthiban has written the dialogues for the film which has art direction by SS Murthi and action choreography by Anl Arasu, Ravi Varma and Dinesh.
