Telugu film industry would be hopeful to start 2023 on a positive note with two biggies - Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya on January 13, Veera Simha Reddy on January 12. In a first of its kind scenario, both films are produced by the same banner Mythri Movie Makers. The promotional activity for the films has already commenced in the Telugu states.
Maa Bava Manobhavalu, Veera Simha Reddy’s third single was launched today at Sandhya theatre, Hyderabad. At the song launch, the film’s director Gopichandh Malineni shared a news that left Balakrishna’s fans ecstatic. He said, “The film’s pre-release event will be held in Ongole on January 6, 2023. We can get Balakrishna garu to deliver a few dialogues right at the venue.”
“Veera Simha Reddy will ensure an impact of a Samarasimha Reddy. I’m sure audiences will jump out of their seats in the theatres. There’s a cigarette, soda step in Maa Bava Manobhavalu that’ll be a blast. We’re shooting another song in Annapurna Studios, it’ll be an out of the world experience for fans, trust me. The theatres will be reverberating with the slogans of Jai Balayya,” Gopichand shared.
Shruti Haasan plays the female lead in the project while Duniya Vijay is the antagonist. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Naveen Chandra essay important roles. Chandrika Ravi and Honey Rose will seen in a song appearance. S Thaman scores the music for the film while Sai Madhav Burra pens the dialogues. Rishi Punjabi cranks the camera and Navin Nooli is the editor.
Apart from Waltair Veerayya, Veera Simha Reddy, two other small-budget films Kalyanam Kamaneeyam, Vidya Vasula Aham will hit screens across Telugu states. Gopichandh Malineni’s last release was the 2021 release Krack, headlined by Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan. Veera Simha Reddy is, in fact, the filmmaker’s third project with Shruti.
