Veera Simha Reddy: Balakrishna makes heads turn, lands in a chopper at the pre-release event

Nandamuri Balakrishna is the man in form. His last film, Akhanda was a huge hit at the box office and his OTT show, Unstoppable with NBK is the most-watched show on the Telugu platform AHA this year. The star hero is also ready with his new action drama Veera Simha Reddy which will hit the screens on the 12th of this month as a grand Sankranthi special.

Mythri Movie Makers is the production house behind this film and they arranged for a massive pre-release event in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh on the 6th of January. The event was almost canceled at the last minute due to security issues but the makers spoke to the government and set things up. Thousands of fans graced the event and things became extremely special for them as Balakrishna made his entry in a special chopper.

The star hero was dressed in a stylish suit and was accompanied by the film's heroine, Shruthi Haasan. This is the first time that she has been paired with Balakrishna and their combo has been received well from the promos released. Kannada actor Duniya Vijay plays the main villain in this film which brings back the faction genre to Telugu cinema after a long time.

Gopichand Malineni directs this film which will showcase Balakrishna in dual roles. The film is set in the Rayalaseema region and boasts some mass action blocks. The makers have spent a bomb on the visuals and Thaman's hit music has also given the film a good buzz before its release and now, Balayya's chopper entry has made things only better.
