Veera Dheera Sooran update: SJ Suryah dons the khaki uniform in Vikram starrer

The makers of Veera Dheera Sooran released the character poster of actor SJ Suryah, on Saturday, for the occasion of the actor's birthday. SJ Suryah is part of the film which is headlined by Vikram and directed by filmmaker SU Arun Kumar.

Actor SJ Suryah celebrates his birthday today (July 20). The actor is part of various upcoming projects and one of them is Veera Dheera Sooran. The film is directed by SU Arun Kumar who previously made the critically acclaimed film Chittha.

Headlined by Vikram, in Veera Dheera Sooran, SJ Suryah will be playing a cop. The poster shows the actor in khaki uniform, with a name card saying Arunagiri. He sports an intense avatar, hinting that he will be playing the primary antagonist.

Veera Dheera Sooran marks Vikram's first collaboration with the director. Besides Vikram and SJ Suryah, the film also features known faces like Dushara Vijayan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Siddique and others. The upcoming film will mark Suraj’s debut in Tamil cinema. The film recently went on floors.

Produced by Riya Shibu under the banner HR Pictures, the technical crew consists of music by GV Prakash Kumar, and camera is cranked by cinematographer Theni Eswar. The edits are handled by Prasanna GK, with CS Balachandar serving as the art director. A release date for Veera Dheera Sooran is yet to be announced.

SJ Suryah’s line-up

SJ Suryah was last seen in Indian 2. The actor-director is now awaiting the release of Raayan, which is scheduled to hit theatres on July 26. He is also part of Telugu film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, in which he will be sharing the screen space with Nani and Priyanka Arul Mohan. It is to be noted that in both Saripodhaa Sanivaaram and Veera Dheera Sooran, Suryah will be playing cop roles with negative shades.

Other films which are in the pipeline for the actor include Indian 3, Game Changer, and Love Insurance Corporation to name a few.
