After the hard-hitting Thangalaan, Vikram’s back with another promising film, titled Veera Dheera Sooran which is set to hit theatres in March 2025. The upcoming Tamil film boasts a stellar cast, led by Vikram, along with SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Dushara Vijayan, among several others. Ahead of the movie’s release, the lead star Chiyaan Vikram said that Veera Dheera Sooran is a raw film with the focus solely on the performances of the actors. Vikram on Veera Dheera Sooran
In a recent interview with HR Pictures, the team of Veera Dheera Sooran, including Vikram, SJ Suryah, and Suraj Venjaramoodu, sat down for an interview before their film’s big release. Notably, the film features two National Award-winning actors, Vikram and Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu who is making his Tamil debut with Veera Dheera Sooran.
Talking about the stellar cast, Vikram said that having actors like Suraj on board has been a ‘boost’ for them.
“As the film is very raw, everyone should be performers,” he said, adding that having SJ Suryah has also been a ‘boon’ to them.

“Because each role is important. All characters are a little bit grey, all of them have a justification. Nobody is a villain or hero. We are all selfish in some way. There are a lot of layers to the characters,” further explained the actor who is known for his performances in films such as Raavanan.
Veera Dheera Sooran release date
Virkam’s Veera Dheera Sooran is set to release on March 27, 2025. Notably, another highly-anticipated south film Empuraan is also releasing on the same date. The Malayalam film has Mohanlal in the lead role and is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Veera Dheera Sooran is written and directed by SU Arun Kumar, who had previously helmed the critically acclaimed Chithha, starring Siddharth and Nimisha Sajayan. Another film by Arun Kumar is the action drama Sethupathi.
Veera Dheera Sooran, which is touted to be an action drama, will have music by GV Prakash. Cinematography is by Theni Eswar, while editing is handled by Prasanna GK.
