Shiva Rajkumar starrer Vedha opened in theatres to positive reviews, with critics and audiences alike commending the team for their sincere efforts. Along with Shiva Rajkumar, Ganavi Laxman, Aditi Sagar, and Shwetha Changappa too drew praise for their credible performances.
As far as the box office performance is concerned, the opening weekend collections reveal that Vedha has fared reasonably well so far, collecting close to Rs. 5 crores (net) domestically. Having collected about Rs. 1.5 crores on Day #1, the A. Harsha directorial reportedly went on to collect Rs. 1.51 crores and Rs. 180 crores respectively on Days 2 and 3. As far as the gross collections are concerned, Vedha is likely to have earned close to Rs. 7 crores worldwide.
Reportedly made at a budget of Rs. 8 crores, Vedha is an action-drama written and directed by A. Harsha with Geetha Shiva Rajkumar producing the film under the Geetha Pictures banner along with Zee Studios. This would be Geetha Pictures' maiden production venture and the team now intends on producing more films by collaborating with many budding filmmakers and actors.
